The TRANSCEND units with their laboratories dedicated for research are included in a separate self-contained building. As a result, two interconnected research levels produce a unique translational hub: molecular medicine and nuclear medicine. The molecular medicine unit includes activities focused on molecular biology, cell cultures, cytogenetics and molecular genetics, proteomics, molecular imaging and bioinformatics. The nuclear medicine unit is focused on radiochemistry-radiopharmacy and translational diagnostics.(https://www.transcend.iroiasi.ro/userfiles/files/Stadiul-proiectului/Prezentare-in-engleza-Transcend-IRO-AP.pdf).
