2. Description of the jobs, documents, and selection process
We are looking for talented, driven, and highly motivated early career and recognized researchers educated in chemistry and modeling for chemistry or a related discipline for development of inorganic nanomaterials. Applicants should possess scientific curiosity, a strong work ethic and ability to engage in teamwork in an interdisciplinary environment.
The positions are open to all EU and non-EU nationals but shall match the profile of a “Recognized Researcher” (R2) as set out in the European Framework for Research Careers - Research profiles descriptors.

Proven experience in synthesis of inorganic materials, particularly magnetic nanoparticles and coating, basic analytic techniques (XRD, FTIR, DR UV-Vis, SEM/TEM).
High level of independence in performing the assigned tasks
Critical analysis of the relevant literatures and the obtained experimental data
Understanding new and complex concepts from the research topic
- Perform research activities for the development of new magnetic nanomaterials that can be used in cancer detection and therapy.
- Coordinate the work of PhD and other students involved in the research topic.
- Preparation of ISI-ranked papers.
- Planning new experiments involving magnetic nanomaterials based on relevant literature
- Contribution to the preparation of research projects/grants
- Contributions to national and (inter-)national conferences.
- Participation in trainings and other workshops, courses etc. necessary for professional development.
- PhD in chemistry, nanomaterials, nanomedicine, and related or equivalent. 
- Minimum three years of experience in development of inorganic (magnetic) nanoparticles.

Proven experience in design of magnetic nanoparticles for drug delivery using molecular modeling

- Research in modeling for development of new inorganic nanomaterials and for investigation of their interactions with biological media.
